Nothing to install for them. Nothing to import for you.
- Keeprs sits beside your library.Today it runs on a NAS. A Mac app is coming, so you won't need one.
- Collaborators open a link.Stars, color labels, rotation and comments. Keyboard on a laptop, taps on a phone.
- Lightroom does the rest. The Keeprs plugin applies each change inside your catalog, and Lightroom saves it like one of your own edits. No "metadata changed" badge, no Read Metadata from Files, no conflicts.
Years of edits, left exactly as they are.
- RAW files: read, never written. Keeprs reads your originals only to make previews. Stars and labels go into your catalog, or into an XMP sidecar beside the file. One exception: a DNG keeps its rating and label inside the file itself. Nothing else in it changes.
- One thing at a time. Only the star rating and the color label. Never capture dates, location, camera details or develop settings.
- Checked every time. When Keeprs writes a file itself, it reads it back and restores the original if anything else changed.
- Nothing lost. Every change is recorded with who made it and when, and can be undone.
For whoever helps you choose.
